The proposal that was received was to include all national teams, which previously passed the World Cup qualifying limits for the 2020 tournament but missed the qualifying limits for 2021, in the 2021 World Cup tournament.

A proposal that the International Curling Federation has now chosen to accept.

"These teams deserved their place in the 2020 World Cups after their results at the World Qualification Event 2020," the International Curling Federation wrote in a press release.

According to the press release, the International Curling Federation, together with the 2021 interest groups, has been in consultation and made an investigation that will be the basis for the decision.

The World Cup tournament on the women's side is expanded with Italy and in the men's class it is China that is taken into the championship.
