The former Brazilian soccer star Ronaldinho arrived in Rio de Janeiro yesterday on a private plane, where he left Paraguay, one day after his release in the case of entering the country with a false passport that led to his detention for more than five months.

And television footage showed that a Cessna C750 took off from Asunción airport, and arrived hours later to Brazil.

Earlier, outside Ronaldinho’s residence, in the center of Asunción, dozens of fans gathered around the ex-star’s luxury car, shouting “Ronaldinho we love you” and “Ronaldinho don't leave”, before his transfer to the airport.

Judge Gustavo Amaria had ordered the release of Ronaldinho (40 years) and his brother Roberto de Asis Moreira, who was charged with the same charge. The two brothers were detained on the sixth of last March in connection with this case. The judge said, "Ronaldinho is free to travel to any country in the world he pleases, but he must notify him if he changes his permanent residence."
