The British newspaper "The Sun" revealed today that the acquisition of the ancient English club Newcastle United by the Saudi Investment Fund is on the way to the happy end, and that its announcement has become a matter of time only.

The newspaper said that the deal, estimated at 300 million pounds, has been completed, after it reached the first payment of the funds of the deal, and the completion of the necessary signatures before the official announcement.

With this the trip of the current owner, and the famous real estate man, Mike Ashley, is nearing its end with the club, which he has owned since 2007, and many supporters of the club refuse to continue because he did not spend on the club, which has suffered in past years of continuous ups and downs.

The newspaper said that the remaining funds will be paid in full once the ball officials in England approve the deal, noting that this will require 3 to 4 weeks.

When the deal officially ends, 80% of the club's ownership will be transferred to the Saudi Investment Fund, and the other value will be distributed among the rest of the investors. The new owners have already laid out a future plan for the club, including competition in the Champions League after three coming seasons, as well as pumping the necessary funds to prepare the team to compete locally for all competitions.
