Both the Swedish national teams together with the assistant coaches Per Joar Hansen and Anders Jacobson, agreed on the reduction with the Norwegian Football Association (NFF).

NFF's management team will also cut its wages by 20 percent.

In response to the outbreak of the corona virus, the Norwegian Football Association has been hit by a financially tough situation. On Wednesday, the union agreed to be forced to lay off several employees.

- We have been in a very difficult and demanding situation where the organization has made huge financial losses. There will be consequences at every stage. Consideration of life and health goes to the interest of football and sports. But it is imperative that NFF take immediate measures to ensure sound financial operations during a period when losses are high and this creates great uncertainty for our organization going forward, says NFF's secretary general Pål Bjerketvedt.
