The government and the Public Health Authority announced around 12.45 today that no decision will be made to restrict people from staying in larger public groups.

Only three hours later there was another sound in the bark.

In a press release, the Public Health Authority proposes that no public events over 500 people should take place. This applies, for example, to major sporting events, big concerts, fairs and conferences.

"It is an infection protection measure that can have an effect on the situation we are in now, and to be effective, the measure should apply across the country," says Johan Carlson, Director General of the Public Health Authority.

It is now up to the government to implement the proposal from the Public Health Authority.
