Coupled with the historical heritage and humanistic atmosphere of the century-old famous school, it has become a popular cherry blossom viewing spot at home and abroad. .

  The relevant person in charge of Wuhan University stated that the school’s services and safety guarantee conditions for receiving public visits are limited and can only be opened on a limited basis.

After comprehensive consideration, the school decided to continue the cherry blossom viewing policy of “real-name quota, online reservation, and double verification” this year.

  Starting from 20:00 on March 17, the public can make reservations for visits three days later through the official website and official WeChat of Wuhan University.

Among them, the daily reservation limit is 20,000 people on weekdays and 40,000 people on weekends.

The school will set up "reservation visitor passages" at Luojia Gate (main gate), Hongyi Gate (west gate), Luonan Gate (Affiliated Middle School Gate), and Chagang Gate on weekdays. On weekends, Yangbo Gate will be opened, and other school gates will be closed to traffic.

  In order to encourage high school students to study more diligently and progress, Wuhan University will set up a special cherry blossom viewing day for high school students on March 23. No reservations will be accepted from other members of the public or alumni on the special day.

In addition, a dedicated cherry blossom viewing channel for alumni will continue to be set up.

  For the public who have not made a successful reservation, Wuhan University recommends going to East Lake Cherry Garden, Hankou River Beach Park, Huabohui and other places to view cherry blossoms or other spring beauty.

  Riding on the craze of cherry blossom viewing tours, Hubei will soon hold the 2024 "Meet the Spring Cherry Blossom Viewing" economic and trade negotiation and the Fortune Global 500 Dialogue Hubei event. The province's 17 cities, states (forest areas) will also carry out more than 220 activities to welcome tourists from around the world.
