The head of the Saudi Entertainment Authority and owner of the Spanish Almería Football Club, Turki Al-Sheikh, revealed the reasons that made him resign from the honorary presidency of the Egyptian Al-Ahly Club, through his official account on the social networking site "Facebook".

And Turki Al-Sheikh submitted his resignation last week from the position of honorary president of Al-Ahly, and did not clarify the scenes behind his sudden decision, despite the strong ties that linked him with Mahmoud Al-Khatib, president of Al-Ahly club recently.

However, Al Sheikh's comments and tweets were not free of ambiguity at times when he mentioned in his last speech saying, "The General Assembly and the club elections are close, and its time for each recent incident," which means that there may be other rounds of leaving the Sheikh with the Egyptian ball.

Al-Sheikh said: "I received many inquiries and many questions from my beloved beloved from beloved Egypt, inquiring about the reason for the resignation and its timing ... I now command healthy conditions and great work connections, in addition to owning Almeria Club and starting negotiations to own another club in Europe or South America ..I preferred to withdraw and keep my family in my heart .. The General Assembly and the club's elections are close, and its time for each recent incident.
