The mixed relay from the U23 World Championships in cross-country skiing on Saturday March 7 will be broadcast live on SVT Play, from 10.55am. Commentator is Peter Jonsson.
The competition is then broadcast in the Winter Studio around 15.30.
Exactly which riders are running the baton is not clear yet. The U23 squad includes Ebba Andersson, who has started in two World Cups for seniors and one Olympic Games, with three medals as a result. She also has five medals from JVM. Andersson, however, will not be there on Saturday, as she runs the World Cup in Holmenkollen instead.
Also Emma Ribom, Moa Lundgren and Johanna Hagström are included in the squad.
- The troop is a wonderful mix of experienced World Cup riders and some debutants. We believe that the experience of the qualified riders will be good for our younger ones, who can see and learn. It is really fun to bring these riders to this championship, says national team coach Johan Granath in a press release.
During Sunday, Emma Ribom took gold and Johanna Hagström silver in the sprint at the U23 World Cup.
