Vfla announced the dissolution of the presidium of the organization

VFLA membership in World Athletics was suspended in November 2015. At the end of November 2019, the organization decided to suspend the issuance of permits to Russian athletes to participate in competitions under the neutral flag until the trial of the athlete Lysenko was completed. On January 31, the Ministry of Sports temporarily deprived VFLA of state accreditation.

Earlier, the Ministry of Sports invited World Athletics representatives to join the VFLA restoration working group.
