Lin Tianhang, chairman of the Hong Kong Artists Association, said that the new presidium will lead all members to actively practice the artistic orientation of patriotism, love of Hong Kong, and advocating morality and art; and contribute to the promotion of China's excellent traditional culture and the prosperity of the Hong Kong art scene.

  In his speech, Lin Tianxing expressed his gratitude to all walks of life in Hong Kong for their long-term support and help to the Hong Kong Artists Association.

He said that in the past five years, the Hong Kong Artists Association and many local art organizations have jointly organized a number of art exhibitions to enhance discussions among colleagues and prosper the art industry in Hong Kong.

After Hong Kong and the mainland fully resumed "customs clearance" last year, the Hong Kong Artists Association resumed exchange activities with a number of art groups in mainland cities in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and successively held exhibitions and conducted training in Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Zhongshan and other places. The career has made great progress.

  Lin Tianxing said that the new presidium and council of the Hong Kong Artists Association will carry forward the tradition of patriotism and Hong Kong, unite the Hong Kong art community, attract outstanding artists to join, encourage artistic innovation, and fully promote the development of Hong Kong's art industry.

  At the inauguration ceremony, the officiating guests issued certificates of appointment to Lin Tianxing; Lin Tianxing and others issued certificates of appointment to the advisory board, presidium, secretariat and council members of the Hong Kong Artists Association.

  The Hong Kong Artists Association was established in 2014. It is an academic and professional non-profit social organization voluntarily formed by Hong Kong artists.

The Hong Kong Artists Association Board of Directors changes every five years. In the previous third board election, Lin Tianxing was elected chairman.
