Former Yokozuna Rare Village Akatsuki parents will hold the first sumo tournament for high school students in Kokugikan in Ryogoku next month.
This “Rare Village Winter Cup” will be hosted by the parent of Araragi, and will be attended by a total of 250 people, including 50 teams created in the second year of high school.
According to Araki parents, the Sumo tournament for elementary and junior high school students and university students was held at the Kokugikan in Ryogoku, Tokyo, but only for high school students.
That is why the Arata parent planned a tournament to give as many high school students as possible the chance to stand on the grounds of the Kokugikan and spread the sumo.
In the tournament, in order to teach that the right meeting is important, a special rule is put in, after having said that, you can re-partition with “waiting” and match with the opponent before meeting.
