The Ironman Triathlon competition is about 3.86 kilometers of swimming, 180 kilometers of cycling and finally 42 kilometers of running.

Sweden's foremost at this distance is 28-year-old Patrik Nilsson. Since winning in Malaysia 2014, Nilsson has won in Kalmar, Copenhagen, Barcelona and this spring in Texas.

For the third year in a row, Ironman's role royale is waiting, that is, the race in Hawaii, which many people call the World Cup. This year Nilsson goes there as one of the triathletes who can be in the top all the way.

- The goal for this year is to make a really good race. I believe and hope it can reach the top five, I believe and hope it can reach the podium and maybe, I want to tell myself, I can join and challenge the victory, says Patrik Nilsson when SVT Sport meets him in Danish Nyköbing Falster .

Nilsson is together with his former coach Teresa Heimann Olsen and the couple has been living in Denmark for several years.
