- This is a fantastic evening, it went very fast today, I'm happy. Yes, what do you say ... thank you very much, says Bartosz Zmarzlik in TV3's broadcast.

In the semi-finals, Zmarzlik got a dream start from his lane two, drove past Russian Emil Sajfutdinov and was then able to deflect into goals as world champion in front of the home crowd.

- I felt way too much pressure, you see how many Polish fans came here today, Zmarzlik continues.

"Congratulations Bartosz"

Bartosz Zmarzlik is the third Polish driver to win the GP series. Jerzy Szczakiel won in 1973 and Tomasz Gollob won in 2010.

- It's unbelieveble. I made a big mistake, but I kept going to myself.

Leon Madsen then won the final and became second in the overall standings.

- I did my best. Congratulations Bartosz, he says in TV3's broadcast.
