The man is charged as a probable cause suspect of:

• Child rape on three counts

• Sexual exploitation of children on two counts

• Sexual molestation of children on four counts

• Attempted exploitation of children for sexual posing in one case.

He is also charged with sexual assault on a count where the plaintiff was over 15 years old. But the other seven plaintiffs were all under the age of 15 when the suspected crimes were committed.

"Kind, understanding and listening"

Parts of the investigation material are confidential, mainly with regard to the young plaintiffs and the sensitivity of the case. But according to the interrogations with the girls that SVT has been able to take part in, the 30-year-old has initially appeared as a kind, understanding and listening adult.

He has been tempted with watching movies and energy drinks in his car, but the main lure has been e-cigarettes – something that is hard currency for many high school students.

One of the underage girls describes her relationship with the man as a relationship that lasted for a couple of months when she met the 30-year-old regularly, without her parents' knowledge.

Images against e-cigarettes

At one point in January, he booked a hotel room where he and a 14-year-old girl spent the night together. Something that is documented in the police's preliminary investigation.

Another of the girls asks him about e-cigarettes repeatedly in the Snapchat conversations between them. At one point, she offers him pictures and videos of herself, "whatever pictures you want," in exchange for ten e-cigarettes.

The 30-year-old denies everything. In the final interview with him after he was served with the police's completed preliminary investigation, he answers "no comment" to almost all questions.
