Riek Machar's party is demanding the return of Angelina Teny, who is also the wife of its leader, to her post as defense minister, from where President

Salva Kiir sacked her

 without explanation last week.

Furthermore, the Head of State deprived the opposition party of this strategic post, exchanging it with the Ministry of the Interior, whose incumbent was also dismissed.

Riek Machar's party believes that this is a "

violation

" of the peace agreement because it was done "without

consultation

 ".

In addition, the president also dismissed without explanation, Thursday, his Minister of Foreign Affairs, who was nevertheless a close friend.

His Minister of Information on Friday explained that the president had "

final authority

" to dismiss whomever he wants, believing however that whatever the problem, "

the presidency will take care of it

 ".

He called on the population "

not to pay too much attention to what is happening

".
