During Wednesday, the Hungarian parliament debates Sweden's application to join the defense alliance NATO.

But instead of holding a vote on March 7, as previously reported, the parliament will vote on Sweden's and Finland's applications on March 20 or 21, according to information to SVT.

Hungary and Turkey are the only remaining NATO countries that have not approved the Swedish-Finnish application.

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán said last fall that Hungary will approve the application "at the beginning of next year."
