“If the hostile statements of the adviser to the President of Ukraine Mikhail Podolyak against Iran are not corrected by the official authorities of this country, this may lead to different answers,” the newspaper writes, citing an “informed official”.

The portal notes that the Kyiv authorities have already unreasonably accused Tehran of allegedly supplying weapons to Russia, but have not provided evidence.

"Ukraine's focus on Iran's national security may be the basis for exploring the issue of changing the position of the Islamic Republic of Iran on the conflict in Ukraine in order to adapt a new approach that is consistent with the behavior of the authorities in Kyiv," the source said.

Now Iran adheres to the principled position of the need to end the conflict in Ukraine and resolve it through dialogue, he stressed.

The portal does not provide official comments.

The Iranian Foreign Ministry earlier demanded that Kyiv officially explain the "suspicious statements" made by adviser to the Ukrainian presidential office Mikhail Podolyak after the attack on the Iranian Defense Ministry's facility in Isfahan. 

Also, Chargé d'Affaires of Ukraine in Tehran, Yevgeny Kravchenko, was previously summoned to the Iranian Foreign Ministry.

A Ukrainian adviser, commenting on the explosions in Iran, wrote on Twitter: "Ukraine warned you."

A strong explosion occurred in the Iranian city of Isfahan on the evening of January 28.

The Wall Street Journal reported that Israel attacked a military plant with the help of drones.
