Today, Monday, the International Organization for the Support of the Prophet of Islam in Istanbul, Turkey, inaugurated the "Ansar Al-Nabi Academy" in the presence of scholars and sheikhs from various Arab countries.

The academy aims, according to those in charge of it, to qualify and prepare cadres specialized in defending the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, in all fields, and to become a platform for publishing the biography of the Messenger and his Sunnah.

Teaching at the academy will start via the virtual medium, and later move to direct teaching via physical presence, and the academy will award certificates to its graduate students, according to those in charge of it.

In a speech during the inauguration ceremony, Muhammad al-Saghir, Secretary-General of the "International Organization for the Support of the Prophet of Islam," said that the organization began a year ago with a media campaign to defend the Messenger at various levels against attacks from a number of countries and personalities.

He added that they moved from the stage of media to education, where a group of scholars, sheikhs, and researchers preachers gathered over the past six months and extracted a new science, "The Jurisprudence of the Prophet's Victory," which will be added to the library and taught at the academy.

Through qualification in the "Ansar al-Nabi Academy", the student and the researcher will be equipped with the latest scientific means, according to Al-Saghir.

In turn, the Secretary-General of the International Union of Muslim Scholars, Ali Al-Qara Daghi, praised - in his speech - the new academy, and said that "carrying out the duty of supporting the Prophet is one of the greatest duties that a person is honored with, which is to offer something before the position of the Messenger of God."

Al-Qara Daghi continued, "Today we came to inaugurate and activate the work of supporting the Prophet and merging it with science and legal foundations through the launch of this specialized academy and institution."

And he explained that carrying out the duty of support and the duty of dawah requires knowledge in order to arrange and prepare this work and make it effective and beneficial.

He stated that the academy will "root these issues through wisdom, good exhortation, and debating in the best way, and extending the invitation to all those who did not reach it."

At the end of the inauguration ceremony, Sheikh Abd al-Majid al-Zindani was honored for his efforts in the Islamic call.
