In a health care product company located in Changsha Economic and Technological Development Zone, Hunan, Wang Yongheng, the company's chief financial officer, is preparing financial statements.

"Changsha's business environment is very good. The government's service awareness is getting stronger and stronger, and it will take the initiative to help enterprises solve problems and difficulties." Wang Yongheng said.

45-year-old Wang Yongheng is a native of New Taipei, Taiwan. He graduated from Soochow University in Taiwan, majoring in accounting, and later obtained an MBA degree from Indiana State University, Pennsylvania. He worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers, one of the world's four largest accounting firms. .

In 2010, Wang Yongheng was sent by the company he worked for to build an auto parts factory in Changsha.

"I want to go through the business license and other procedures, but I don't know what materials I need to prepare. After the staff of the development zone learned about the situation, they took the initiative to help." Talking about the situation when he first came to Changsha, Wang Yongheng still remembers it fresh.

He also introduced that when the factory was first opened, due to insufficient assets, the bank loan was not approved for several months.

Due to personal reasons, Wang Yongheng left the above-mentioned factories in 2014 and came to work at Herbalife Leishuo (Hunan) Natural Products Co., Ltd.

Wang Yongheng said frankly that he felt that the business environment in Changsha was becoming more and more high-quality.

Since April this year, the mainland has implemented a large-scale VAT refund policy to ease the financial pressure of enterprises and reduce their costs.

As the person in charge of finance, Wang Yongheng, after evaluation, believes that the company has no such demand.

"In the second month after the policy was introduced, the tax department of Changsha County approached me and asked why we didn't apply for such a favorable policy for enterprises. After I explained patiently, they hung up the phone with confidence." Wang Yongheng said that the government " "Nanny-style" service moved him very much.

After coming to Changsha for 12 years, Wang Yongheng has become half a local.

In his view, Changsha is one of the "happiest" cities with rapid economic growth, a strong atmosphere of technological innovation, vigorous development of emerging industries, and control of housing prices at a low level.

Changsha's food and beautiful scenery also made him relish: "I like to eat crayfish and fish head with chopped peppers. In my spare time, I will climb Mount Yuelu, visit Hunan Museum, and ride Songya Lake."

In life, Wang Yongheng also felt the warmth of Changsha everywhere.

At the end of 2019, his parents came to Changsha to visit relatives. They didn't bring enough medicines. They didn't know where to buy them. They were very anxious.

Under this circumstance, Wang Yongheng asked the Taiwan Affairs Office of Changsha City for help, and the staff helped him contact the relevant hospital so that he could buy the medicine smoothly, which solved the urgent need.

"Taiwan and the mainland share the same origin, especially after I obtained a Taiwan resident residence permit a few years ago, I enjoy the convenience of taking high-speed trains, planes, staying in hotels, and handling financial services. I have fully integrated into the life here." Wang Yongheng said.

In recent years, many places in the mainland have introduced relevant measures to benefit Taiwan, allowing Taiwan compatriots to enjoy the development dividends of the mainland.

Hunan issued the "Implementation Opinions on Deepening Hunan-Taiwan Economic and Cultural Exchanges and Cooperation" in 2018, which provided development opportunities for Taiwan compatriots including Wang Yongheng.

In 2020, Wang Yongheng was recognized as a high-level talent in Changsha City, and he can enjoy various services such as house purchase, children's schooling, and medical care.

At present, Wang Yongheng has bought a house in Changsha, and together with his wife raised a pair of twin daughters, living a very happy life.

"I would like to be an introducer of Changsha, hoping that more Taiwanese youths will come here to develop." Wang Yongheng said that the mainland's economy has been improving for a long time, and some big cities, including Changsha, have more employment and entrepreneurial opportunities.

Taiwanese, especially young people, must visit the mainland more often in order to understand the real mainland.
