CCTV Finance's "China City Nighttime Economy Vitality Index Report" released on-site shows that in 2023, China's nighttime tourism market will reach 1.57 trillion yuan, and the ten cities with the most active nighttime consumption are Chengdu, Beijing, Shanghai, Chongqing, Hangzhou, Shenzhen, Changsha, Zhengzhou, Wuhan, Guangzhou. Among the ten cities where people like to have dinner parties and late-night snacks during leisure time, Changsha ranks first.

In recent years, Changsha has firmly implemented the strategy of expanding domestic demand, focusing on creating an international consumption center city, promoting the integrated development of night economy and new consumption, and two-way empowerment, becoming the beautiful business card of "Internet celebrity Changsha" and a vivid picture of happy life.

  According to reports, Changsha has successfully built four national-level night-time culture and tourism consumption clusters in recent years. Night-time consumption ranks among the top three in the country, and it has been selected as one of the "Top Ten Influential Cities in China's Urban Night Economy" for three consecutive years. Consumer demand and supply are "running in both directions", and new consumption models such as 24-hour bookstores and non-closing gyms are emerging. Changsha has become a unique source of innovation for new consumer brands in China and was successfully selected into the "Forbes China Consumer Vitality Cities List."

  Three latest industry research results led and participated by the Changsha New Consumption Research Institute were released at the event. They are the "2023 China New Consumption White Paper", which provides a panoramic reference for observing and understanding the domestic new consumption industry, and guides companies to strengthen brand building.   In addition, the Hunan (Changsha) Consumer Market Big Data Laboratory, jointly built by the Hunan Provincial Department of Commerce, the Changsha Municipal People's Government, and the Tianxin District People's Government, was also officially unveiled at the scene. The laboratory plans to achieve real-time tracking and dynamic monitoring of the consumer market through the aggregation, cleaning, classification and analysis of multi-dimensional big data from personal payment terminals, enterprises, and government, and provide support for consumption statistics and accurate decision-making.
