It also attracts mountaineering enthusiasts, hiking enthusiasts, and camping enthusiasts.

"Emirates Today" monitored mountain accidents during the current year, which amounted to seven accidents, represented by the implementation of the National Center for Search and Rescue, in coordination with Kalba Police Operations, a rescue mission and medical evacuation of a wounded Lebanese mountain climber, after he suffered a leg injury, After he fell in a mountainous area in Wadi Al-Hilu, last February.

The center, in coordination with the operations of the Dibba Al-Fujairah Police, was able to deal with three mountain accidents last March, which was the rescue of a 28-year-old girl of Gulf nationality, after she was injured while she was in a mountainous area in Dibba Al-Fujairah, in addition to carrying out a rescue mission for one Senior citizens (88 years old) in the mountains of Dibba Al-Fujairah, after suffering severe fatigue and fatigue at the highest mountain peak in the region during the afternoon, in addition to finding five missing persons (four of Indian nationality and an American) in Jabal Al-Ajuza in the Saturday region of the Emirate of Fujairah, after they lost their way And they were trapped among the tall mountains, while practicing mountaineering in a difficult-to-reach location, which led to their severe fatigue.

And this October, three mountain accidents were recorded, which the National Center dealt with professionally and quickly, as a mountain rescue mission and a medical evacuation of a person suffering from difficulty breathing and severe fatigue, while practicing mountaineering in the Kalba region, was carried out, and the teams evacuated the patient from the top He was transferred to Kalba Hospital to receive the necessary treatment.

In the second incident of October, the Center received a report of a person losing consciousness due to severe exhaustion and fainting. The search and rescue team managed to evacuate the patient from his site and transferred him to Dibba Al-Fujairah Hospital in the Emirate of Fujairah to receive the necessary treatment.

The last medical evacuation and rescue mission was for a 64-year-old citizen who was suffering from exhaustion and severe fatigue, and sporadic injuries to the body, after falling from the top of a severe mountain in the Emirate of Fujairah.
