made a phone call to King Charles III to present his "condolences for the death of his mother, Her Majesty the Queen Elizabeth II", announcing directly to the new British sovereign that "on Monday he will be in London for attend the funeral ".
The tenant of the Elysée writes it in a tweet.
In another tweet, Macron declared that "the bond between France and the United Kingdom is indestructible, and we will continue to weave it, following the path traced" by the queen.
