The arrest of a "dangerous" gang specialized in car theft in Sharjah

The General Command of Sharjah Police announced the fall of a gang it described as "dangerous" that specializes in car theft in the emirate, including eight Asians and one Arab.

The General Command revealed that a number of people reported to the Sharjah Police that unknown persons had stolen their vehicles of various types, while they were stopping in separate places in Sharjah, according to what was mentioned in the aforementioned reports. A case run by its owners when it was stolen.

And the Sharjah Police General Command added, "Accordingly, a security team of criminal investigation officers has been formed in Sharjah Police, to search for, prosecute and arrest the perpetrators of these thefts."

Through research and investigation, the team was able to identify a number of people suspected of being linked to the aforementioned crimes, their places of residence were also identified, and by arresting and interrogating the suspects, they confessed to having stolen a large group of vehicles mentioned in the reports, and they were arrested and referred to the Public Prosecution in Sharjah.

 The Director of the Criminal Investigation and Investigation Department, Colonel Ibrahim Musabeh, called on drivers and vehicle owners not to leave their cars in running condition while leaving them, and to make sure that the vehicles are stopped in safe places and tightly closed.

Al-Ajri stressed the continuation of the efforts of the Sharjah Police in combating car theft crimes, thwarting all criminal schemes targeting public and private property, and working to protect the funds and properties of citizens and residents, calling on community members to cooperate with the police in detecting these criminal activities and communicating with them when they suspect any behavior or behavior that provokes distrust and suspicion.
