  • Controversy María del Monte, broken after the arrest of her nephew Antonio Tejado for his alleged involvement in the theft of her home

  • In the early morning Inmaculada Casal: "We were woken up by noises and we found five hooded men. 'This is a robbery and shut up,' they told us"

At the end of last August, María del Monte (61) filed a complaint after the looting of

her house in Gines (Seville).

Five hooded thieves jumped over the fence of her garden, forced the door and gagged the singer and her wife, Inmaculada Casal (59). Later, they intimidated them to obtain the combination to her safe.

Months after this gang took a

loot of jewelry, luxurious watches and money

, the artist has suffered an even harder blow. According to the Civil Guard, her nephew Antonio Tejado (36)

is the intellectual author of the violent robbery.

Although he was not the one who entered the home during the assault on his aunt, he was allegedly in charge of providing information about

the home and how to access it.

Tejado knew his aunt's routines, the rooms of the chalet and

the place where her safe was

. Information that he provided to the other assailants, who had already participated with him in other operations. "They knew

where they were going and what they wanted

. They took my mother's rings, earrings that my father gave me, my communion medal, everything," Inmaculada Casal said about this event.

It was Del Monte and Casal's complaint

that initiated an investigation,

which the Judicial Police has named the Abgena operation. Through which this gang that has performed in homes in Seville, Brenes and Guillena has been dismantled.

Six of the accused are already in

provisional prison, including Antonio Tejado.

Apparently, they were preparing

a new robbery to obtain a million

euros that was foiled by the Civil Guard. They are accused of crimes of

robbery with violence and intimidation

, illegal detention, membership in a criminal organization, reception and trafficking of drugs.

At the moment, neither Tejado nor any of the other detainees have given a statement either before the Civil Guard or before the judge.

The Police had been tapping the phone of the

former television personality for a long time.
