The Emirates Foundation for School Education has announced the adoption of a new school uniform for students of public schools, starting from Kindergarten 1 to Grade 12, to be distributed to students on August 15, as part of the Foundation's preparations for the next academic year, which begins August 29.
The Foundation stressed its keenness to provide school uniforms that suit the nature of all age groups for students, at all levels of study, in order to ensure the provision of more comfort conditions for them, and in line with the nature of the course of the school day.
It has also made sure that the new uniform provides students with the necessary practical requirements that the nature of the classroom and non-classroom activities they practice in their schools necessitate, in addition to being fully in line with the security and safety requirements that students must meet when they use the scientific laboratories available to them in schools.
The new school uniform guide specified the uniform specifications for students, each according to his stage of study, as it provided a variety of options to suit their age groups, which reflected positively on their educational environment.
The Foundation has also been keen to provide high-quality school uniforms by setting a set of specifications and standards that take into account that the colors are limited to white and navy, and that they are comfortable, uniform, attractive and suitable for both sexes and for different ages.
School uniforms will be sold to students through 38 outlets located in different regions of the country, and affiliated with Lulu Hypermarket, the supplier approved by the Emirates School Education Corporation.
The costs of the new school uniform were limited to a minimum, which contributes to not increasing the burden on parents.
The uniform also provides comfort to students, by taking into account the requirements of the educational process, study hours and environment, and the requirements of the different school day with its various activities.
