Sullivan said the visit was Biden's first trip to the Middle East as president.

  Sullivan also said that Biden will meet with Mexican President Lopez before heading to the Middle East on the 12th to discuss issues such as immigration, the bilateral economy and the conflict between Russia and Ukraine.
