“Over the past day, nine attacks from the positions of the Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist group were recorded in the Idlib de-escalation zone.
Four attacks were recorded in Aleppo province, three attacks in Idlib province, one shelling in Latakia province, and one shelling in Hama province, ”reads a message posted on the Russian Defense Ministry's Facebook page.
Earlier it was reported that the Russian president's special envoy for the Middle East and African countries, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov and UN Secretary General's special envoy for Syria Geir Pedersen held a telephone conversation.
