“Over the past day, eight attacks from the positions of the Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist group were recorded in the Idlib de-escalation zone.
Four attacks were registered in Aleppo province, four attacks in Idlib province, and four attacks in Latakia province, ”the statement posted on the Russian Defense Ministry's Facebook page says.
Earlier it was reported that the Russian president's special envoy for the Middle East and African countries, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov and UN Secretary General's special envoy for Syria Geir Pedersen held a telephone conversation.
