Anders Vestman has been a farmer since the beginning of the 80s, but several of his fields have been abandoned in recent years.

But then came the question of growing raw materials for the local brewery in Stjärnsund.

- When we decided, we changed the farm to organic and last year we could take the first harvest.

Modest amounts

- In the first round, we delivered 35 tons, says Anders.

According to him, these are quite modest quantities, but at the same time it is more than what the individual brewery needs.

Therefore, more Dala breweries have been offered to buy his malt grain.

- If demand increases, we will certainly increase with more fields.
