Netanyahu and Putin had a telephone conversation

"Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had a telephone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin," TASS quoted Netanyahu's office as saying.

In addition to the situation in northern Israel, the parties discussed regional issues.

Earlier, Vladimir Putin sent his condolences to Benjamin Netanyahu in connection with the death of people as a result of the collapse of the podium and a stampede during a religious holiday on Mount Meron in the Galilee.
