Kiel (dpa / lno) - According to the state government, 486 new corona cases were reported within one day in Schleswig-Holstein on Tuesday.
That was twice as many new infections as the day before (241) and over 100 more than in the previous week (314).
The seven-day incidence - the value of new corona infections per 100,000 inhabitants within a week - continued to rise and is therefore 86.3 nationwide.
According to the information, 181 Covid-19 patients were treated in the hospitals in Schleswig-Holstein;
28 of them are in intensive care units, 17 have to be ventilated.
The number of those who have recovered is estimated at 14,100.
