Nearly 9,000 new cases of new coronary pneumonia confirmed in France in a single day

  According to the latest data released by the French Health Administration on the evening of the 4th, as of 14:00 on the same day, the number of confirmed cases of new coronary pneumonia in France rose to 309,156, and 8,975 new cases were added within 24 hours, the highest number of newly confirmed cases in a single day on record.

In the past week, the proportion of France's new coronavirus test results positive rose to 4.5%.

  Data show that the total number of deaths from new coronary pneumonia in France is 30,686, an increase of 20 from the previous day.

There were 20,210 deaths in hospitals, and 10,476 deaths in social medical institutions, including nursing homes for the disabled.

  In addition, France currently has 4,671 new coronary pneumonia patients receiving treatment in hospitals, and 292 new patients were admitted within 24 hours.

Among them, 473 patients received treatment in the intensive care unit, and 46 newly-increased patients were newly admitted within 24 hours.

Currently, a total of 87,447 people have been cured and discharged.
