It is the two aging schools Östra skolan and Västra skolan that have grown out of their respective premises and will move together in the new school building in two years - which does not yet have a name.
- It may be a later question, said the municipal board chairman Göran Dahlström (S) before the symbolic sod was taken.
Has been moved twice
The planning has been going on since 2017, but the location of the school building has changed twice due to poor ground conditions.
The new school with associated sports hall is expected to be completed in May 2022.
