His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, received a phone call today from the President of the friendly Republic of Ukraine, Vladimir Zelinsky, on various aspects of joint cooperation between the two countries in addition to developments related to the spread of the "Corona" virus and the importance of coordinating work and uniting efforts on World level to contain its repercussions.

His Highness and His Excellency the President of Ukraine also discussed - during the phone call - the measures taken by the United Arab Emirates and the Republic of Ukraine in confronting the spread of the "Corona" virus and coordinating their cooperation in this regard ... in addition to the international efforts made to contain the repercussions of the spread of the virus on all human and economic levels.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan assured the UAE’s keenness to continue enhancing solidarity, cooperation and rapid response to face various common challenges, especially during the difficult period the world is witnessing following the crisis of the “spread of Corona virus” and its repercussions .. stressing his highness on the approach of humanitarian action that It is considered a basic pillar and one of the Emirati rewards in extending a helping hand and helping all peoples of the world in various circumstances.

His Highness expressed his condolences to the Ukrainian President on the victims of the virus and his wishes for the speedy recovery of those injured and the safety of the Ukrainian people and all the peoples of the world.

For his part, the Ukrainian President expressed his thanks and appreciation to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, appreciating the support provided by the UAE to his country to support the efforts of its institutions and health centers in facing the crisis of the spread of the "Corona" virus.

His Excellency praised the Emirates humanitarian stances and initiatives in this regard, especially in light of the difficult circumstances the world is going through.

The two sides stressed the urgent need during these exceptional circumstances for the concerted efforts of the international community and all concerned institutions through coordination of cooperation and joint work to confront the "Corona" virus and reduce its humanitarian and economic impacts globally.
