The Crimean prosecutor’s office did not find violations in the criminal case of Vladimir Levchenko, who has been in jail for more than two years because of the charge of intentionally killing his own wife. Moreover, the fact of the death of the accused’s wife has not been established - her body was never found. Witnesses claim that they regularly meet the “murdered woman” on the streets of the city. One of the residents of Yevpatoriya who saw the woman alive was brutally beaten by unknown persons shortly after the next interrogation in the UK. Levchenko's lawyers hope that the new Attorney General Igor Krasnov will pay attention to the situation.
