His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces, yesterday, phoned Scott Morrison, Prime Minister of Australia, during which he discussed the current situation of unprecedented forest fires in Australia.

His Highness conveyed the UAE's solidarity with Australia in these circumstances, stressing that the UAE stands during this crisis alongside Australia, with which it has deep friendship.

His Highness said: “The UAE is ready to support the Australian people, by providing the necessary expertise, equipment, manpower, and other forms of support to help in fighting fires and rebuilding for the damage it has left.”

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Australian Prime Minister, informed that Reem Bint Ibrahim Al Hashemi, Minister of State for International Cooperation, will coordinate with the Australian government on the assistance provided by the UAE to Australia and its friendly people in facing this crisis. His Highness also discussed the importance of enhancing cooperation, and intensifying regional and international efforts to enhance security, stability and peace in the region and throughout the world.
