According to TASS, the pilots landed the plane after running out of fuel.
“At 00:20 local time (22:20 Moscow time - RT), the aircraft landed normally,” the statement said.
Earlier, the Volga Transport Prosecutor's Office reported that the Yak-42 is returning to the departure airport due to engine failure.
As indicated, on board are 73 passengers and eight crew members.
