The police are investigating the incident.
“The dog’s owner, who abandoned him at the station, will be held accountable,” RIA Novosti reported.
Earlier it became known that in Ufa a man left his American Staffordshire Terrier at the railway station, thinking that he would not be allowed on the train with him.
Law enforcement officers took the pet to the department, identified the owner and handed the dog over to the man’s relatives.
