Highlights: The new light training aircraft for the initial training of Russian Aerospace Forces pilots, the Yak-152, has completed state tests. The next stage in the development of the aircraft will be the substitution of the engine, propeller and other components with Russian analogues. Earlier, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu inspected the production of guided missiles in the Moscow region. It was also announced that testing of a new machine gun for the Russian Armed Forces is beginning in Russia. The new weapons are expected to be ready by the end of 2014.
