The last FC Rosengård won the Allsvenskan was 2015. Then Hanna Bennison was 13 years old. Today she is 17 and a new Swedish champion.
- It's hard to describe, winning SM gold is something I've dreamed about since I was little, says FCR striker Hanna Bennison.
She is noticeably taken and has a little difficulty in expressing her feelings on Monday morning - she may not have really landed in being a Swedish champion.
However, Malin Levenstad, who has played in FC Rosengård throughout his career and has won four SM golds, quit and start again as both player and coach.
- It's my fourth SM gold. But you don't get tired of it, she says.
Gold joy spreadingEven in the city, people are happy about another gold for the master city of Malmö.
- I'm not that interested in sports, but I'm glad they won. I think they are cute, says Ulla Mauritzson, who lives in Malmö.
The stars of FC Rosengård act as idols for younger football players, says Towa Ekdahl.
- When I played football, they were my idols, so it's fun that there is more focus on the ladies' swan, she says.
