09 October 2019Igor Cecikov, top manager and deputy general manager of the war industry "Russian helicopters", was admitted to a Moscow hospital with a fractured skull. He is now in the intensive care unit. The company belongs to the state group "Rosteh", which also includes the company United Engine Corporation, whose top manager Alexander Korshunov was arrested in Naples at the end of last August at the request of the US as he was accused of industrial espionage by the FBI.

For a Russian tabloid, Cecikov would have accidentally fallen from the second floor of his villa in a prestigious area of Moscow inhabited by the Russian elite. According to the tabloid, the 43-year-old drunk would have leaned too far out of the window in an attempt to photograph squirrels.

However, the version was denied by the press release issued by "Russian Helicopters", in which, although confirming the incident and the seriousness of the top manager's state of health, no details are provided on the incident.

The police have started an investigation.
