The wife of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi published a blog through her account on the social networking site "Facebook", on the occasion of the anniversary of the victory of October 1973.

Intisar al-Sisi said: "Together, we celebrate the anniversary of the victory of the great 6th of October, in which the Egyptian people, in all its spectrums and categories, presented an unforgettable example of guerrillaism, cohesion and sacrifice for our holy land. God save Egypt from all evil."

El-Sisi had delivered a speech to the Egyptian people on the occasion of the 46th anniversary of the victories of the 6th of October 1973, during which he affirmed his full confidence in victory in the moral wars that Egypt is exposed to, from lies and deception.

"The Egyptian people are always able to continue their victories and preserve their homeland," Sisi said. "Your children and grandchildren are determined to continue the march."

He continued: "The sixth of October is the day crossing the border, and does not represent a brilliant military victory of the armed forces and only, but a unique expression of the will and cohesion of the people."

He added that "in recent decades the forms of war have changed until we reached the moral wars," pointing out that "Egypt today celebrates one of the greatest and most glorious days, which is to cross the border between despair and hope, and between the past and the future."

Sisi pointed out that "the forms of wars are aimed at destroying trust between the citizen and its national institutions and portraying the state as the enemy," stressing that "the victory over those wars depends on the trust of the citizen and his concepts and ideas."
