Moscow and the UN World Tourism Organization signed a memorandum

This was reported by the head of the city committee on tourism Ekaterina Pronicheva.

The document was signed on September 14 as part of the Moscow exit program of the 23rd session of the UNWTO General Assembly.

“This is an official document of understanding confirming the status of Moscow as a member of the UNWTO. UNWTO is 158 countries, a large number of international organizations, ”RIA Novosti quoted her as saying.

According to Pronicheva, the signing of the memorandum will provide a diplomatic opportunity to contact these organizations directly with the support of the UNWTO.

Earlier, Russia became a country - the chairman of the 23rd UNWTO General Assembly.
