Sudan's rapid support forces closed off all roads leading to national television yesterday, in response to a media announcement demanding a civilian protest and civil disobedience.

The move came after the negotiations between the transitional military council in Sudan and the forces of freedom and change, because of the issue of the sovereign council and its representation rates and its presidency. He explained that all rumors of a negotiating position are incorrect and contrary to the provisions of the Declaration of Freedom and Change.

For his part, Deputy Chairman of the Military Council, Lieutenant General Mohammad Hamdan Duklo (Hamidati), said that the army wants to hand over power to a democratically elected government as soon as possible.

The forces of freedom and change were considered the day before yesterday, that the military council «still puts the vehicle of the sovereign council in front of the horse of the revolution, and insists on emptying of the essence and waste the goals of the Declaration of freedom and change and the transformation of its structure and meaning».

It also declared that the Council adheres to the condition that the sovereign council be headed by a military and a majority of the military, which is rejected by the forces of freedom and change, considering that it does not meet the condition of change and does not reflect the objectives of the revolution.

On the other hand, the Director General of the police forces issued a decision to form a specialized technical committee to examine and review the nationality of Sudanese nationality and granted under the Nationality Law in the country.
