The most read novelist in France returns at the start of the school year.
Guillaume Musso, returns to bookstores in September with
Angélique
, its publisher, Calmann-Lévy, announced on Monday.
After having long favored publications in the spring, this 48-year-old author moved in 2021 to a publication just after the literary season in August.
This year, his new book will be published on September 20.
Nearly 1.3 million books sold
Last year, he remained in the lead for the eleventh consecutive year of the most read authors in France, with nearly 1.3 million books sold, according to the firm GFK.
"Guillaume Musso will sign, in this thriller, a feverish, exhilarating and unexpected investigation around the death of a prima ballerina," said Calmann-Lévy editions in a press release.
