US police said that a 14-year-old girl was kidnapped in northern California, and was able to use the "Snapchat" application, where she sent her site with her friends, who then called the police number (911) that they were able to release.

The San Jose Police Department said in a statement that the girl met a 55-year-old "Albert Thomas Vasquez" in the Capitola area on Tuesday, and made her take drugs until she was completely unable to understand what was around her, then asked for help from two other men, Antonio. Salvador and Hiberto Gonzalez put them in a car.

The police also added that Vasquez sexually assaulted the girl in the car, and that the men took the girl to a hotel in San Jose, then transferred her to a room on the second floor and returned and Vasquez attacked her sexually again.

While she was at the hotel, and after she woke up, the girl used the Snapchat app on her phone to inform her friends that she had been kidnapped, and that she did not know her whereabouts.

Girlfriends were only located the location of the kidnapped through the application, and called "911".

Once the police arrived, they found Vázquez leaving the hotel room with the girl. He was then arrested for kidnapping, rape and violent behavior with a child.

The police added that the other two men were arrested on Wednesday, for kidnapping and conspiracy.

This is how Snapchat saved the application that allows users to communicate with others through pictures and instant videos, it has saved the life of an American child.
