On August 29, the State Food and Drug Administration issued the "Notice of the State Food and Drug Administration on 20 Batches of Drugs Not Complying with the Regulations (No. 39 of 2022)", of which Chongqing Taiji Industry (Group) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as: the company) The methanol content test of Huoxiangzhengqi water (batch number: 2021013, 2021046) produced by Sichuan Nanchong Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Nanchong Pharmaceutical), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Taiji Group, did not meet the requirements.
The announcement confirmed that the batch numbers of Huoxiangzhengqi water produced by Nanchong Pharmaceuticals are 2021013 and 2021046, and the validity period is 24 months.
In February 2022 and March 2022, Zhejiang Institute of Food and Drug Inspection and Sichuan Institute of Drug Inspection (Sichuan Medical Device Testing Center) sampled three batches of Huoxiangzhengqi water samples from Nanchong Pharmaceuticals, and handed them over to Jiangxi Province Drug Inspection The testing institute tested, and the test result was that the methanol content index did not meet the regulations.
According to the announcement, Nanchong Pharmaceutical has recalled all 15,677 boxes of the unsold part of the above batch products according to the procedures.
The announcement also stated that currently, among the company and its subsidiaries, only Nanchong Pharmaceuticals produces and sells Huoxiangzhengqi water. In 2021, the sales revenue of Huoxiangzhengqi water produced by Nanchong Pharmaceuticals will be 6.65 million yuan, accounting for 0.05% of the company’s operating income in 2021; This announcement involves product sales revenue of about 220,000 yuan, which accounts for a very small proportion of the company's operating revenue and has no significant impact on the company's production and operation.
