China News Service, Xiamen, August 30th (Yang Fushan, Yang Cunxing, Lin Tao) The last set of 500-meter-long steel rails at Xiamen North Station of Fuxia-Xiamen High-speed Railway were successfully laid on the track bed on the 30th, marking the completion of the whole line of Fuxia-Xiamen High-speed Railway.

As an important part of the coastal passage in China's "eight vertical and eight horizontal" high-speed railway network, the Fuzhou-Xiamen high-speed railway starts from Fuzhou in the north, passes through Putian and Quanzhou, and reaches Xiamen and Zhangzhou in the south. The railway connects Xiamen-Shenzhen Railway and Long-Xiamen Railway at the southern end, with a design speed of 350 kilometers per hour and a total length of 277.42 kilometers. There are 8 passenger stations along the line, namely Fuzhou South, Fuqing West, Putian, Quangang, Quanzhou East, Quanzhou South, Xiamen North and Zhangzhou. .

According to reports, there are three extremely difficult construction sites for track laying on the Fuzhou-Xiamen high-speed rail line, namely the three sea-crossing bridges in Meizhou Bay, Quanzhou Bay and An Bay.

Due to the complex offshore hydrological environment and the environmental conditions above Grade 6 wind most of the year, it is difficult to allocate materials, the construction time in a year is short, and the construction safety risk is high.

To this end, China Railway Nanchang Bureau Group Co., Ltd. organized the construction and construction units to explore technological innovation. In the track laying construction process, the domestic advanced track laying equipment for the two lines was used to realize the simultaneous laying of long rails on the left and right lines, which is higher than the traditional track laying unit. The operation efficiency is 60%, and the daily progress can lay about 6 kilometers of long rails. This technology is the first time in China.

After the Fuzhou-Xiamen high-speed railway is completed and opened to traffic, it will realize the "one-hour" economic circle and living circle of Fuzhou, Quanzhou and Xiamen, which is of great significance to promoting the rapid development of the southeast coastal city group.
