He pointed out that in 2021, China's GDP will exceed 100 trillion yuan for the second consecutive year, and its proportion in the world will further increase. The per capita GDP will exceed 10,000 US dollars for the third consecutive year, and the building of a moderately prosperous society in an all-round way is in full condition.
Second, economic development and epidemic prevention and control maintain a leading position in the world.
In 2021, the effectiveness of China's active fiscal policy will be improved, the prudent monetary policy will be flexible and precise, the employment priority policy will continue to be strengthened, and efforts will be made to ensure supply, stabilize prices and support the real economy, promoting sustained economic recovery and development.
In the first three quarters, China's GDP grew by 9.8% year-on-year, with an average growth rate of 5.2% in the two years, maintaining a leading position in the world.
Third, the four major macro indicators show that China's economic operation remains within a reasonable range.
He said that in the past year, China has continuously strengthened and improved its macro-control. From January to November, the main macro indicators were generally within a reasonable range, showing rapid economic growth, low consumer prices, better employment, and better balance of payments. From January to November, the national general public budget revenue was 19.1 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 12.8%, and 96.8% of the annual budget was completed.
The national general public budget expenditure has accumulated to 21 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 2.9%, and is expected to be about 4 trillion US dollars for the whole year.
Fifth, the reform and opening up continued to deepen, and the national strategic scientific and technological strength was accelerated.
He said that one of the highlights of China's economic cycle in 2021 is the continuous expansion of opening up, and the growth of foreign trade and foreign investment against the trend.
In terms of trade in goods, from January to November, China's total import and export of goods reached 35.39 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 22%; in US dollars, the total import and export of goods reached 5.47 trillion US dollars, and the annual total is expected to exceed 6 trillion US dollars.
