Emirates Airlines reopens 20 private airport lounges across its network

With the restoration of its network and the increasing demand for travel, Emirates Airlines will provide its passengers in First and Business Class and Platinum and Gold members of Skywards with access to more than 120 private airport lounges across its network by February 2022.

Currently, Emirates Airlines, which has resumed operations for more than 90% of its pre-pandemic network, serves more than 120 destinations around the world through its hub in Dubai.

Customers traveling in First and Business Class will be able to enhance their travel experience with Emirates' premium lounge service at more than 20 airports, in popular destinations in Europe, Africa, the United States and Asia.

Emirates lounges in airports in the United Kingdom will open their doors to receive customers by late December, including London Heathrow, Birmingham and Manchester.

London Gatwick and Glasgow lounges will welcome customers in January 2022.

In Europe, Emirates Airlines reopened its lounges in Germany (Munich, Frankfurt and Dusseldorf), in addition to the Milan and Rome lounges.

While the Hamburg and Paris halls are scheduled to reopen later.

In the US, passengers on Emirates flights can enjoy the premium lounge experience at Los Angeles International Airports, Boston Logan International Airport and New York JFK Airport, while the San Francisco lounge will reopen in February 2022.

Earlier, Emirates Airlines had resumed providing private lounge service to its customers traveling through Cairo.

Eligible customers will soon be able to relax and dine in Emirates' lounges in Colombo and Bangkok before boarding their flights.

Emirates passengers in First and Business Class and eligible Skywards members can also enjoy the airline's five lounges in Terminal 3 of its flights at Dubai International Airport, which is now fully operational.

And Emirates Airlines reopened the first-class lounge, as well as the business lounge in “Concourse B in Terminal 3”, with full services. Customers traveling in Business Class, in addition to Skywards members (Platinum and Gold), can enjoy dining with luxury drinks up to four hours before their flights, as well as using Wi-Fi. Free to follow emails, surf the web or keep in touch with family and friends. New menus include vegan, vegetarian and healthy options to cater to everyone's needs. The two Emirates Airlines lounges, for passengers of the first and business classes in "Concourse A", have resumed providing their services in the eastern wing, and it is scheduled to return services to the western wing in the coming weeks. The carrier also plans to restart its two Concourse C lounges by early next year.

First Class passengers and Skywards Platinum members can enjoy free admission for the first passenger and up to three companions, including one adult and two children under the age of 17. Customers who enjoy the lounge facilities will also have direct access to the boarding gates of Concourse A. Dedicated to the Emirates A380.

Health and safety measures for customers

All Emirates lounges have resumed their operations after taking strict measures to ensure the health, safety and well-being of customers.

Emirates' airport services teams have also collaborated across the network with partner lounge service providers to ensure specific protocols are met to provide services to their customers.

According to specific local guidelines in each market, either buffet service or a la carte catering is provided, and menus are available via smartphones only.
